Eye to Eye

The Alpine Ibex was almost extinct in the 19th century, they were only living in two parks in Italy and France at that time. Luckily, due to protection and reintroduction, they managed to colonize the Alps again. I had to climb high to see them, but the reward was great, especially since I did not expect to find them on this hike. Moreover, I had mistakenly taken the 'wrong' lens for this hike (70-200 instead of 24-104 which I wanted to use for landscapes), but it turned out to be the perfect choice! Seeing this magnificent animal from this close was an unforgettable experience! Maybe the fact that I'm a Capricorn also has to do with it :)

Little Jay

The little Jay we found in our garden and that we took care of until he became an independent wild bird. When we found him, he had no feathers yet, it is amazing how they grow!
